I spent some of my last moments in Tokyo under the pouring rain at the Imperial Palace. After I had enough of the rain, I decided to take shelter enjoy some art at the museum of modern art across the street. I was able to dry off and rest my feet ponder the many beautiful pieces in that museum. Plus, it had a great view of the palace.
I took off to the airport and got there way too early which was kind of a blessing in disguise as I got to do some exploring and time-killing aka eating. They had the best airport food I have ever had (I had karaage, a tuna rice dish, soba, gyoza, and sake). I wandered into a convenience store and found that they sell alcohol in the convenience stores. Japan has no laws against drinking in public so I took advantage.
I didn’t get in to Taiwan until midnight and was planning to surf this morning but it seems the storm followed me here.
Today, I’m just going with the flow and following my parents around. More to come…
